Biography Göknur Olguner is a successful photographer and a painter currently residing in Washington, DC. Her photographic work includes weddings, portraits, fashion, product and editorial subjects,, which have been showcased and commissioned by many publications such as Cosmpolitan and Maison Francaise, as well as personal art projects. She has been awarded as one of the top wedding photographers of Washington Metropolitan area in 2006. Also as an established painter ,who has commissioned her mixed media work frequently in various exhibitions, Göknur has been juried as a “Lifetime Resident Artist” of Torpedo Factory ( Alexandria, VA ) in 2005. Her paintings have been purchased by collectors from different parts of the world and can be seen either in Torpedo Factory or in her private studio in DC.
