How many months in advance do I need to reserve your services for my wedding date?
by: FAQs in: Washington, DC
There's really not a time frame that I can't get the job done, but it is always good to hire a wedding coordinator atleast 9 months to 1 year ahead of time. This gives you room for change, just in case you decide to go with something else.

Well that depends at times. Most of my clients hire me at least a year in advance to secure their date. Others, depending on the need will wait until 8 to 6 months before there wedding.
This depends on the level of service required. You should contact us no less than 3 months before your wedding.
There is no specific number of months in advance. If you call me and I am available, then you can reservce your date.

As soon as 12 months if you are able to hire a planner that early. Otherwise, I book 3-6 months out.
Full service - Minimum of 12 months in advance is preferred. Partial Minimum of 7 months. "Day of" Minimum 6 weeks prior to your event.
Just enough time to be able to book the reception and the church. Usually it can all be planning in 6 weeks or more.
DOC contracts will not be signed more than 6 months before event date. Full Planning contracts can be signed up to 18 months in advance of the event.
Wedding Planning, As soon as you are engaged and decide to hire a wedding planner/coordinator. Day-of Coordination- At Least 6-8 weeks if possible. Hourly Consultation- depending on event.
This varies depending on the time of the year and the services you wish to contract. I suggest that you call no matter how far in advance or how close to your wedding day you are.
If I am available on your date, I will meet with you and customize a package in as little as one month prior to your event. Most couples start researching a coordinator as far as 18 months in advance.

There is no time limit. The sooner of course the better. My services have been rendered before on a 16 day notice for a clients wedidng.
If you want day-of services - 2-3 months out. If you want full or partial planning - 6 months to 1 year for best planning results. Summer dates fill up fast.
As soon as you know date. call or email me. I also will take last minute calls. ALways call or email me I will get right back with you and If I am booked that date I will see if one of my back ups is availbale, so you still kinda get me to help you out. I have booking right now for 2009 and I will keep up with you by email and calls once a month to keep everything moving.
