The agreement may be canceled in writing, by either party, up until 30 days before the date of the engagement. Cancellation by The Client after 30 days and before 15 days of the engagement will result in one half of the agreed payment being sent to the Performer as full settlement of the Client’s financial obligation. Cancellation by the Client as of 15 days or less before the date of the engagement will result in full payment by The Client to the Performer. However, either party will be released from all financial obligations if its cancellation is due to Acts of God, riots, strikes, labor difficulties, epidemics, any act or order or any public authority or any other cause, similar or dissimilar, beyond the control of either party (“Force Majeure Event”). Specifically if either party must cancel due to a Force Majeure Event, the Performer shall refund any and all amounts paid by the Client.
